Famous Nudes Bettie Page. She was the number one1 Pin-up Girl in the 1950s: Bettie Page (1923 – 2008). She was a model who became famous in the 1950s for her fetish modeling and pin-up photos. She has often been called  ”Queen of Pinups”. Her look – including her jet black hair, blue eyes and bangs, has influenced many artists until today. She was “Miss January 1955″, one of the earliest Playmates of the Month for the Playboy magazine. After somebody sent shots of Bettie Page to Hugh Hefner, he selected one to use as his Playmate of the Month centerfold in the January 1955 issue. The centerfold photo shows Page, wearing only a Santa hat, kneeling before a Christmas tree holding an ornament and playfully winking at the camera.  In 1955, Page won the title “Miss Pinup Girl of the World”.
